Here are just a few samples from the collagraph prints that the Year Three students created during Term 1. They did a really good job of creating the blocks and really enjoyed printing them. There are a couple of photo's of the blocks too which are artworks in their own right I think.

Wild Ways Conservation Art Project 2010
This was a project completed last year by the PP, Year 1 and Year 2 students. A number of different techniques were used including fabric dying and painting, sewing, weaving and tying knots. It was a great project to be involved in and I am looking forward to participating again this year.

Year Five - Op-Art
The Year Fives worked very carefully to colour these pages to create some Op-Art inspired by the artist Bridget Riley.
Year Four - Australian Landscapes
Surfs Up - Year Three and Four
At the beginning of the year the Year Three and Four classes painted surfing and body-boarding pictures. They really enjoyed mixing the paints.
Weaving - Pillows and bags
The Year Two project for this term was creating a piece of weaving which was then turned into a pillow or a bag. First the students had to paint their fabric, then weave it with fabric strips in either cool or warm colours. Finally they embellished their weaving by sewing on some sequins and/or beads.
Year One - Colour
The Year Ones had fun with colour this term. They enjoyed mixing colours together as well as making collages using materials of their favourite colours
