Inspired by the lovely daisies and dragonflies I saw on "For the Love of Art" I decided to use up some of the old paintings that had no names on them and some magazine pages. The students had to plan out what they were going to make and then work out how many they needed of each shape. I decided to leave them mounted on large pieces of black paper rather than cutting around them.
An art blog to showcase some of the fantastic work created by students from Year 1 to Year 6 at Maranatha Christian College

Year Three - Interesting Insects
The Year Three students have created pictures of insects crawling over a background of leaves. The insects have been painted with edicol dye and when dry were cut out and mounted on a piece of egg carton to make them stand out of the background.
